Barracks ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Dumbbell mobile application ("Dumbbell" or the "Service"). We respect user privacy and handle personal information and health-related information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Dumbbell currently operates as an iOS app without server-based account registration, login, or backend synchronization. Workout records and preferences are primarily stored on the user's device. Apple Health data is read only when the user grants permission, and it is not transmitted to our servers or to third-party analytics tools.
We may process the following information to provide the Service.
The following information may be stored locally on the user's device while using the Service.
Identifiable raw entries — such as exercise names, set-level weight, repetitions, duration, and notes — are not transmitted to Company servers or to external analytics tools and are stored on the user's device. However, certain app preferences (first day of the week, default weight unit, onboarding completion status) and summary statistics about workout sessions, exercises, and routines may be transmitted as part of the anonymous analytics information described in Section 1.4) below.
If the user grants Apple Health access, the Service may read the following information to display profile information and provide workout insights.
The Service only reads Apple Health data. In the current version, it does not write workout records to Apple Health. HealthKit information is not transmitted to Company servers or external analytics tools.
If a user contacts us by email, we may process the following information to respond and troubleshoot issues.
